Dornier Touches Down in X-Plane

 

Carenado has released the DO228 100 HD Series for X-Plane 11.

The package comes with six HD liveries and a blank template for creating custom paint jobs, while the model has been designed to take advantage PBR (Physically-Based Rendering), providing realistic lighting effects such as shading and reflections.

Other highlights include engine dynamics and flight physics designed specially X-Plane 11 – ground handling has also been adapted for version 11.

The aircraft features the X-Plane GNS530 for better frame rates, although support for RealityXP’s GTN750 has also been included.  It also comes with VR compatible click spots and is Goodway compatible.

Documentation includes DO228 normal and emergency checklists, performance/reference tables and a multi-function display PDF.
