KhamsinStudio releases Munda Point airfield.
Munda Airport is situated in the Solomon Islands and was used by the Japanese forces as a forward operating base. It was captured by the US Army XIV Corps after 12 days of fierce fighting and was used by the American forces form the remaining of the war.
After the war, the airfield was turned into a commercial airport, used for regional flights by Solomon Airlines.
The package from KhamsinStudios includes high resolution textures for night and day. It recreates original WWII objects such as tents, towers and barracks. Static aircraft and vehicles such as the F4U Corsair, Douglas C47 Dakota, B-24 Liberator, Consolidated PBY Catalina, Jeep Willis and GMC Truck are also included.
